My grandparents are Venetian. I still have family there who I'm in touch with.

My cousin told me they are currently under lockdown in Venice and throughout northern Italy.

His usually bustling hotel in Venice.... is completely empty. 

It's a very different time in history....where one sneeze can change the world.
