The environment is clearing up, practically overnight. 

You might have heard how the canals in Venice are clear.

I would hear stories from my relatives in Venice who, when young, could swim in the canals. 

If you've ever seen the canals in Venice in modern times, they are the farthest thing from clean.

That has changed...fast! See the above picture. 

This won’t do any good for all the losses we are suffering.

But it is a very important and very bright ray of light in a very dark world. 

Just for these few moments we share together today, can we stand in that light?
