It happens to be the subject of one of my favorite Neil Young songs, "Cortez The Killer."

The year was 1521.

The leader of the Conquistadores, Cortez, came dancing across the ocean with his galleon from Spain.

He was seeking to meet Montezuma, the leader of the glorious Aztec empire.

What happened next is a battle still taking place in each of our lives...500 years later.
