It's one of the rarest trees in the world.

It will be extinct by 2070. 

Every so often, I see one here in the Arizona desert.

The Joshua Tree is named after a prophet...

...because the plant's stretched out branches resembled Joshua raising his hands to pray...

...TRUSTING...in a better day to come.
